1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background

This Construction Works Schedule and Location Plan details the construction works programme and location plans of Works to be deployed by Bouygues – Dragages (1201) Joint Venture (BDJV) during the construction works under Entrustment Agreement No. ENT/TUE/001 – Construction of Infrastructure Works in the Tung Chung New Town Extension Area.

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report (Register No.: AEIAR-196/2016) pertaining to the "Tung Chung New Town Extension" project has been duly approved by the Director of Environmental Protection. Subsequently, an Environmental Permit (Permit No.: EP-519/2016) has been issued for the project in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance. In compliance with Condition 2.12 of the Environmental Permit (EP), BDJV is mandated to formulate and submit a Construction Works Schedule and Location Plans for the undertaking.

1.2 Scope of Works

The works mainly comprise:

a) Construction of Road L31 and associated works

b) Construction of Yu Tung Road footbridge lift

2 IMPLEMENTATION PROGRAMME

The implementation programme will follow the construction works schedule referred to Appendix A.

3 LOCATION PLAN

The location plan of works is shown in Appendix B.
